Community Garden

April 22 - EChO & SRC

We met up at the CLC building and then headed over to the Bergen Park community garden to prep both the Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO) and Senior's Resource Center (SRC) garden for the spring.  The EChO garden supports the food bank throughout the season while the SRC garden helps keep their cost of adult daycare down.  Regular EChO and SRC volunteers maintain the garden throughout the season, but both organizations need a little boost to get the year started.

Going Beyond Sunday

About EChO - The mission of Evergreen Christian Outreach is to provide assistance to residents of the Evergreen mountain communities who are unemployed, under-employed, dealing with a long term illness, or experiencing other forms of personal crisis.  In order to meet that mission, EChO has a number of programs, including a food bank.  Get involved.

About SRC - Seniors’ Resource Center is dedicated to enhancing the independence, dignity, and quality of life for seniors in the Metro Denver Area and surrounding communities, including Evergreen. They provide an array of services that enable older adults to remain in their homes and thrive. Services such as transportation, in home care and adult daytime programs provide life enriching activities and support both older adults and their caregivers. Get involved.
